How SyncLock™ works

The most dangerous passwords in any business aren't the ones your team types every day — they're the powerful behind-the-scenes accounts that keep servers running. Those passwords are usually set once, written down somewhere, and never changed. SyncLock™ automatically rotates these passwords, reducing reliance on long-lived credentials and limiting how long a stolen password remains useful.

Two locks, one secret

Your server and our secure control center each hold the same secret key. It's set once, in person, and never travels anywhere again.

Time does the work

On a schedule, both sides independently calculate the same brand-new password from that secret and the clock. The password is never sent, emailed, or stored in a file — it simply exists in both places at once.

One window in

The current password can only be viewed inside our Service Account Engine, by an authorized Synapse technician, with every view logged. Not even the server itself can show it.
